What is wrong with Search function?

I can only get results from today or from back in 2010. Everything starting yesterday and going back a couple of years is missing in search.
It's getting maintenance. It'll be down awhile.

There's been a board-wide announcement posted at the top of every single forum notifying members of this for a few days now....but I realize some people never read that crap.

If I had an exact date, I'd have posted it. We are working through some bugs.
