The Adult services link on CL frontpage, now says its censored. I think CL is complying with AGs request.

Looks like that is nation wide. BP will no doubt be next.

Maybe or maybe not. I don't think BP gets enough non adult ads to draw a large crowd of do gooders to it. Everybody knows craigslist exists. I wonder how many times some naive and anal person has clicked on the ers or ads section and gone " I can't believe this is here." Where as BP these sort are not going to accidentally come across it. I think it is the difference between advertising in the Syr Post St and dard and the Syr New times.
The Adult services link on CL is still available in Canada and remain untouched by do-gooder efforts so far. Those lucky Canadians haver more freedom here than us it seems. CL Canadian adult ads were a bit more reliable all along than those ads in NY.

I believe they're censoring Adult section in only 17 states - the ones that threatened with lawsuits and legal actions.

Would anyone really miss CL? E.com is rapidly becoming the new CL. Lots of riff raff there now.
Many respected Canadian providers use CL. BP up there is dead.
Adult Gigs is also gone. But Therapeutic remains under Services. Guess where they will be posting soon.

well do you realy blame them since they are linked to so many crimes related to the hobbying but the section of niagara is still in tact for the canadien side
Let's keep in mind that prostitution is legal in Canada, therefore no illegal services are being advertised in Canada. They never changed from Erotic to Adult like Craigslist across the US did after the last big AG push.

Now they'll show up under Casual Encounters even more than before.

I read somewhere they the Adult section was accounting for 30% of Craigslist's annual advertising income, so this was a very costly decision for them.

I found this link on Backpage for another website Adult Search

PS:
Just now checked Casual Encounters w4m section and there are only 3 postings and 2 of them were flagged! So 1 post remains right now.

In the casual encounter section, for a long time now, you have a bunch of freaks who watch those ads all day, and flag them. It is not the management, just wacky do-gooders
what other ad sites are recommend all i know is e.com & bp ?
