I have this cute banner that I cannot seem to make work.

Here is the code. Supposedly. I can also attach the original banner somehow here if someone tells me how.

I have the banner in my signature line, but it's not animating like I wish for it to.

Any suggestions? I'm horrible with this type of stuff.

Its a .jpg image. Jpg's don't animate, they are static. If you want it to animate it has to be a animated .gif or flash file.

Here is the gif image. But I don't know how to place it in my signature line. Nor do I know how to send it to others. Got it on EROS, somehow, but any further assistance would be great!

Thanks!
Elisabeth (Not the technical one!)

P.S. Plus, is there a way to make it move a little quicker back and forth?

Place it the exact same way you did the jpg image. upload the gif to your imagecoast account and link it in your signature just like you did with the jpg.

to make a gif rotate faster you have to adjust the settings in the software that you used to create it. there is a great program that I use for making animated gifs. It is called Photoscape. www.photoscape.org is the site. It is 100% free and has lots of features. You can make the individual jpg images and then open the gif program in it and change the speed, size, etc.

I didn't create it. That's WAY out of my league for now. I used classybanners.com I have no way to know what they did.

It's a very inexpensive service but they don't really have any customer service. Not really.

Hugs .... and thanks! I so appreciate your help. I'm going to learn this stuff even if it kills me!!!

Upload the gif to your image coast account and send me the link. I will fix it for you in your signature.

Thanks. There is this site that I found off of EROS called classybanners.com

They do a 24 hour turnaround on banners for $25. The only downside is that there isn't any one on one communication. You fill out a form. Send them pictures and an idea of colors, etc., and they send you the banner the next day.

I've used them twice and although it has never been what I thought it would be, I've been very pleased both times.

I STILL cannot get this damn banner placed in my signature line! Urgh!!!!

Hugs,
Elisabeth

Your blog , OTOH has your own creative writing and i loved reading it, and commenting on one of your writings, because it felt exactly like i feel as well :-). It`s good to read! Congrats!
