Are reviews and references 1 in the same?

Clients write reviews on providers - these are in the Review forums, viewable by the public, except for the double-secret probation ROS tagged text, which can ONLY be seen by clients with premium access.

Providers give Clients references - when a client wants to see a provider he hasn't seen, he gives his new provider a list of his previous providers. They then give his new provider a reference that he's not a psycho, or at least pays on entry.

n.b. Don't expect a good reference if you give a "No" review
It always confuses me when a gent thinks his reviews qualify as a reference. They are solely catered to clients. (A provider can't even read all of what was said or make a comment on the thread.) And even with a seemingly positive review, it is an account of how a client feels about an escort.

A reference serves the purpose of one provider letting another provider know how she felt about the client, and whether or not he was safe and if she would or wouldn't recommend him.

Um no. I would never just take a list of reviews as a guys reference. The reviews could be fake. I mean it's not like there is proof the session took place. And as the beautiful Ms. Duvall mentioned, ladies don't have access to the ROS and reviews are written by gents, for gents. I seriously doubt a guy would mention a lady had to toss him in the shower because he smelled like ass.

I do use the list of reviews in my screening process. I look at the ladies he's reviewed, the activities that occurred and the tone in which he writes. And I would always be happy to contact a few of the ladies a gent has reviewed, if he prefers that route.
