gifts?

I grow yellow roses and sometimes feel like giving a gift is there a appropriate gift to give flowers or chocolate as i don't want to cross any boundaries.

Flowers are definitely an appropriate gift . Even chocolate is nice, but some ladies don't eat sweets or can't.
