New provider safety

I was recently asked how someone just getting started as a provider could learn how to keep herself safe from L.E. entanglement and from unpleasant clients. I shared with her what I did as a client, but I am afraid I was not much help from the lady side. Screening is always gonna be rule #1. If she is on a few reputable verification sites such as Eccie p411 she has a good chance to meet better clients that can provide references. If she does her homework and doesnt skimp on the routine, she has a better chance of not meeting bad people. There is no giarentee but everytime I read of a provider busted or beat up, it was from lack of a screening procedure. I am sure good providers can give her the benefit of theirexperience. Hope she plays safe.

Don't know anything about the stella site but I do know that not everything you find on the national blacklist site is accurate. I had a lady that I gave an infraction to for violating board rules put me on it once. She had never been to my city to my knowledge and I certainly had never seen her. However, she reported on there that I shorted her on her fee for a three hour appointment. I was able to have it taken down.
