Weekend Coast Destination ??

thinking about making a rendesvous at a 'resort' on the Coast - not really a Casino person but I do enjoy a decent experience. looking for good food, a nice music venue, some casino stuff, and ... hopefully a not too expensive and comfy semi-soundproof rooms

Might be a little tough getting a "not too expensive" room this weekend. Cruzin' the Coast is starting up next week, which means the Hotel room prices went up, and the availability went way down.

Cruzin' the Coast is a huge event along the entire Ms. Gulf Coast. (Bay St. Louis to Biloxi.)

The only places I know that might qualify as a resort are the casinos, particularly Beau Rivage and Imperial Palace.
