Have you ever bumped in to someone you know at an AMP?

If so how did you handle it? That would be awkward.

Fancy bumping into you at the table shower type of thing?

not someone i know, but this last monday, as i was leaving blue, youme opened the gate door just as a guy was entering the outer door. she kinda went "uh oh", i walked out the gate, said "hey" to the guy, and then walked out.

it wasnt akward to me, more of a surprise - as it was the 1st time in over 20yrs of visiting amps that it has occured. usually, the providers at amps are very cautious about guys passing each other during their visit.

I'd imagine it goes down like the old Carlin joke:

Jews don't recognize Jesus as the son of God, Protestants don't recognize the Pope, and Baptists don't recognize each other in the liquor store (massage parlor)

Why would I care if I run into someone I know getting a massage?
I've run into other guys at Amps before, in each case it was as we were entering or exiting the Amp. But it's never happened in the "no-man's land" of the central hallway. The providers at Amps are very cautious indeed about preventing two clients from passing each other or even catching a glance from down the hallway. I get a kick out of how after the table shower, the provider sticks her head out the door, looks both ways, then ushers you swiftly back to your room. I can appreciate the discretion there.

Running into someone you know can't be good, at least in my opinion.
My first thought would be "how does this person know me?" Do they know my SO, or friends/acquaintances of ours? Do I know him from work? That wouldn't be good either.
Or maybe he's a little embarrassed at being spotted there as I am. Definately an awkward situation.

On a sidenote, I have run into one particular fella two or three times already it seems.
Drives a Yugo. Peculiar voice.
He reminds me a little bit of Mr. Haney from "Green Acres"...

Ran into a local celebrity. Told Korean lady I had to hit the head, and he was coming out of the bathroom. Shit my pants, fucking dumb ass.
