Some folks forget the tow drivers have to meet local and state requirements and then there are some legal issues with moving someone's vehicle. There's an old saying that is quite applicable to any "service" business ... "No good turn ever goes unpunished!"
When they hook up that vehicle or pull it up on the flat bed ... they "own it" and everything inside of it .... in the trunk too! If the owner isn't there or doesn't make arrangements, then the driver is at risk. Why should he OR SHE take the "risk" for NOTHING?
