The NFL hired Jay-Z for $25MM basically to get top artists to perform at the Superbowl Half time show. The NFL did that because popular black artists weren't agreeing to perform. So having Shakira and JLo perform was primarily Jay-Zs doing.

So what does he do? Not stand during the national anthem. Did he get black artists to perform? No.

He played both sides of the street, didn't stand, is still anti-cop, got $25 million and enhanced his street cred.
