Question for perspective.

Since the law changed to make prostitution a possible felony, has anyone actually been arrested, prosecuted and sent up the river for a little P4P? Enquiring minds, RSVP, etc.

If they have been locked up on a felony charge, I doubt they're out of prison yet to admit it.

1 year probation $1000 fine (also they prosecuted it as Class A Misdemeanor)

They did write into the law a provision for getting a probated sentence for a first offense, a $2k fine (I think…it’s been awhile since I read the statute) and the additional condition that the defendant go through some training on the evils of trafficking. Guys that do jail time for this are likely repeat offenders or had multiple charges and/or outstanding warrants.
