Pronounced E-CEE or ECKIE!!

Because I have nothing better to do and Im bored right now...lol

I have been having this debate with Malwoody and we are at odds on the correct short pronunciation Of ECCIE....

I pronounce it E-CEE....Malwoody calls it ECKIE!!

Now I know Of a couple of people that are gonna jump in here so Im prepared without naming names "Omahan" (ive been warned...lol)

So to me E-CEE sounds better AND theres no "K" in the name!!

Anyone want to chime in...Im just stirring the pot!!

E-CEE!!

It is pretty clear:

ECCIE rhymes with Becky

When you say "E-CEE" do you mean

"EE'-see" like "Cici"
"EH'-see" like "Bessy"

E-C !
Ecky sounds like you're describing the noise someone made when there was no courtesy tap to let them know you were about to try and get their throat pregnant.

The first I was pronouncing it "EE-SEE" like "CiCi",
but all the visiting ladies form Texas have corrected me...
(and since ECCIE was started there)
...to start pronouncing it "EC-KEY" like "Becky"!
I used to call it E C. Now I call it Ecky. Sounds like "icky". I liked E C way better.
I just spell it out when I pronounce it... E-C-C-I-E... and here I am wasting three syllables like a fool!
