Notify EVERY Verified provider of new ad rules?

It was just recently brought to my attention that ECCIE has changed the provider advertising rules and guidelines and made them much more strict. I do understand the need for the changes with all that is going on today, however , these changes were not announced board wide and if our local mod SOULMANIKE had not mentioned the changes I would have never known. I am sure many of the ladies know nothing of the new rules. I think it would be a great idea if each and every verified provider was personally informed of these changes via pm or e-mail, that way no one could feign ignorance of the new rules and continue to break them. Just a thought...
Tiffany, there is no change in the rules for ads. Providers can continue to post ads the way they always have and still adhere to the image guidelines for posting.

Can you please provide a link to the changes. I posted today, and I hope I did not violate the new rules, I have not heard this before now.

thanks,
ck

I realize they are available to everyone to view but most won't take the time to read them, especially if they don't know anything has changed. I was just thinking it would make your and all of the other mods jobs much easier in the long run if all these ladies knew. Otherwise the only way they will find out is when someone reports that their ad is in violation and then one of you guys will have to correct their ad and notify them of it. That is going to be a LOT of RTM's and a lot of work for you guys.

I am ashamed to admit it but I am sitting here scratching my head about the change in rules... what is it?

http://www.eccie.net/showthread.php?t=19347 Specifically: Your ad may not suggest an exchange of sexual favors for money. Avoid using code words or acronyms (greek, BBBJ, etc.) You may not use obscene images in your ad. (porn, exposed genitalia) Content which advertises an illegal service will be removed.

OH! that sounds like something that's in place when it comes to signature lines.
and, I KNOW THIS thanks to johnnybax. loll.

it also sounds like something that -- should've been implemented a longgg time ago. or at least, I thought was.. maybe not. But - it's all good in the hood. it's pretty fair.

*edit: so if there's exposed genitalia in a showcase - do we hit that red button?

Well maybe they aren't new rules but they certainly are new to me, and seeing how graphic many ads are here I don't think many are aware of them.
