[comic] Hand Wash Only

It occurs to me that it's been a while since I posted! So, um. Please enjoy!



I figure this is something every provider has to work with--a lot of the nicest clothes, and pretty much all of the "delicates," are going to be hand-wash only. And while I guess I COULD just hire someone else to do it (do laundromats do hand-washing as well as dry-cleaning?), I'd really just as soon not hand over a bunch of provider-wear to a stranger.

As for the color the basin-water gets... I blame the stockings. Let's face it, everything else I wear gets maybe an hour a week of gentle, sitting around wear. The stockings, on the other hand, get a lot more use. (And are a lot easier to fit into my casual wardrobe!)

There have been times when I get a last min request for something specific, and I have to dig it out and hand wash it, with a Hh to crunch time lol

Plus get ready for appt., so I usually hand wash then rig up hotel hangers over heating ducks hanging from curtain rods nonsense ...lol and the curtain rod is too far from the heat so I use three hangers to get down close to heater ...in a tipsy dangling lingerie mobile ...

Then I am in the bathroom getting ready while this invention is blowing around like a whispering indoor wind chime ... With 5 min left to go I end up putting the outfit on a bit damp hair drying it the rest of the way right on my body lol

Oh ya, a lot of gents prob have no clue the lengths we all go to and wouldn't want to know LOL

in an apt i had in florida..i would handwash then hang the article of clothing on a
hanger and then let it hang from the ceiling fan in my living room..id put that fan on ..
my clothes would be flying around that room..all went well till one of the fan things broke off..hahahha

Reminds me of a time I was on the way to a meeting…….I spilled my ice tea all over my pants while avoiding a deer in the road. It looked like I pissed my pants for heavens sake lol. Running late I had no other options, so I pulled over and got out of the car on a back road. I took off my pants and washed them up with water from a water bottle, got back in car and drove up and down the road holding my pants out the window to dry. Thank god it was hot that day lol!

Omfg i know exactly what you both mean! *dies laughing* i was doing the blowdry while on me damp thing last night Lmfao! Standing there going back and forth from hair to outfit with the blowdrier panicking watching my phone flash with his call 10 minutes early just out of my reach due to cord length. *helpful hint*the more you text and call before a date the longer we take to get ready because we have to drop everything to talk or reply.
