Yes, those are detractors.

If you never click on ads anyway do what I do and use a little browser plugin called "Adblock Plus" and you won't have to see most of them depending on how they are coded into the page. ABP says it has just blocked 22 ads on this page for me. I just wish it would block that damn one that opens another page/site when I click on some of the links for threads, etc., here.
