Wasps & Nests

Totally off topic but it's good info. If you have a problem with Wasps and their nests, use WD40.

I had a problem with them. Had a nest on my patio and the wasps would make their way in. Had maintenance here for a separate issue and I showed him the nest, said he'd be right back.

He showed up with a spray can of WD40, sprayed the nest. Woohoo,
no more Wasps.

Works great for bird shit on your car as well.
Soak, wait, wipe.

Thanks for the helpful hints!
WD40 works well exactly as you have described, however it will leave a oiley mark on the paint if it comes in contact.

I live close to the River and we have terrible problems with wasps. Several years ago, my neighbor had to remove his siding on the house to spray, remove their nest, and rid them.

The biggest problem Ive had is them building their nests in the eves, bbq, wood piles...ect. I have found if you purchase wasp spray and spreay the eves in the spring before they show up they will smell the spray and not build nests. Haven't had to knock down a wasp nest in years.
