Surely there's another history buff here...

If there is, s/he knows that this year is the 100th anniversary of World War I, a/k/a as "The Great War" (before World War II pretty much blew WW I's claim to that title out of the water) and "The War To End All Wars". *snicker* (Because we saw how well that turned out.)

Anyway, this:

is probably the most magnificent summary of WW I ever conceived.

That was as hilarious as a joke about a world war can be. I especially liked the part about Russia getting the complete personality change.

Now, not only was that funny, it was outstanding, and thanks for reminding me about the 100 year history of the start of WWI.
