Driving thrue NM soon

I will be in Hobbs driving to Clovis am making a few stops.
Albuquerque is not on my path but i do want to see some sites any suggestions?
It sure isn't as pretty as driving through Washington State.
But love finding new finds when I travel.

but with gas in an escalatde type vehicle with gas 180 miles out the way.. I would really need something specific I was going to see.
