End the Fed

I'm not going to insult you by copying and pasting an entire article without crediting the author and pretending it's my own. Man, that gets boring.

No author is credited in this article, but the data are taken from Senator Bernie Sanders office. However, it details what the Fed has been doing with our money. They have bailed out foreign and domestic banks to the tune of $16 TRILLION! Our national debt is not even that much, yet.

These people can't be trusted. It's time to end the Fed.

But,but, but, but it was created by a Progressive (Wilson) so it must be good!

So, from a non-economist view, the Fed sets the tenor of the interest rate environment in the US, they drive the interest rates to absurdly low levels, which drives the rates on things like T-bills down to absurdly low levels. . . then the buy the T-bills. How is this NOT a coup de'etat by the Fed?

This is why it took an act of congress to finally audit the Fed. They resisted it for nearly 100 years and it wasn't even a FULL audit. Who knows what else they'll find. As for 'ol Woody Wilson, i'll just re-post what he came to believe about the Fed ..

"I am a most unhappy man. I have unwittingly ruined my country. A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated. The growth of the nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated governments in the civilized world. No longer a government by free opinion, no longer a government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men."
~ Woodrow Wilson

You are right, Waco. The Fed is the biggest obstacle to liberty in our country. It is the biggest issue.

its most troubling when no one knows what the Fed doing with these tranactions.

its plain to see why the Fed resisted an audit and any limits on a bank size.

"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. Already they have raised up a moneyed aristocracy that has set the government at defiance. The issuing power (of money) should be taken away from the banks and restored to the people to whom it properly belongs."
- Thomas Jefferson
