Lost and Found

My hobby phone has served me faithfully for many years. It is a basic, reliable, no-frills, non-smart phone that only costs me $10 a year to maintain service for me to use exclusively for one purpose.

It was therefore a little traumatic for me to suddenly realize that it was no longer with me two days ago after seeing a favorite lady and running some errands. My best hope was that it felt out of my pocket in the lady's long-term-lease incall. So I emailed her, knowing that she does not check her email all the time. After not hearing from her for two anxious days, I was almost resigned to having to get a new phone when I suddenly received her email with the welcoming words, "I believe I have something that belongs to you." Within a short while, I was able to retrieve it from her - with much gratitude.

This is only the third "accident" I can remember in all these years of hobbying. In the first incident, I forgot to leave the envelope and the kind lady insisted that I waited until the next visit to make it up with her. In the second incident, I forgot to bring my cell phone, and had a hard time using the unfriendly pay phone in the hotel to call the touring lady's out-of-state phone to get her room number.

I once left an incall and realized a bulge was missing from my pants...

ya! a happy end. you got you're phone back. Tuesday I had to stop to see a provider on the way to work. She called earlier in the day. Hay dumb ass, you left your watch here.

My current hobby phone repleace my last one after 5 years service. Its last year it also had a mishap. She took a piss, then I took one. Then the phone went for a swim before I flushed. Her hair dryer got it working again. But the screen had problems after that. mmmmmm then the screen died when I went to make a call from the same bathroom. Anyone want a used phone. still makes and takes calls.

Someone once forgot their phone AND insulin pump. I had no other way of getting a hold of him because he left the sites and well an insulin pump is super important. I panicked and threw my hair up in a bun and jumped into my dirty gym yoga pants with my jacket over my corset and ran down to the lobby to return both. I literally caught him the sec he walked out the door.
Now I always say "Wallet, keys, phone, watch?" when someone is about to leave.

I think Jack just wanted to make another appointment, and the phone was just a good excuse to head over. (glad to read you got your phone back)

I must not get out often enough... I have yet to have the fun of having to go back because I "forgot" something.
