I’ve missed KC so much so I’m excited to finally return. Any recommendations in the down town area to see, explore, and dine ? Best bars for me and my gf to get a good cocktail ? I look forward to making new friends, so let me know.

I used to enjoy McFadden’s right across from the Sprint Center…what is it now….T-Mobile? But that whole Power & Light area across from there used to be a blast. I haven’t been back since before 2020, and it seems reviews are down across the board for poor service in the area. But I did just visit on of my faves, The Brick. It’s actually a restaurant with a bar, but I really like it. Very unique place catering to more of an artsy (?) crowd. There’s usually a local band or guitarist in there when I’ve been in the evenings.
