Trumps name calling may be accurate much of the time but indicates ego drives too much of his thought process. His childish tantrums and TWIXER rants helped cost him the 2020 election and continue to do more harm than good within the Republican party.

He also fails to grasp a concept that champions (regardless of your politics being elected President is a WIN at the highest level) in other venues like sports understand very well. When you speak poorly of those you have beaten in a contest it does the opposite of what you intend.

This is why coaches thank the other team for their valiant efforts so the win means something. Disparaging other Republicans in this effort to make it all about himself is not something I am going to celebrate.

Greg Abbot who will be 70 in 2028 offered a quick and public NO THANK YOU to Trump just this week. Being VP for Trump would give him the best chance for a run at being President and he is not interested.
