Go Go Greek!

I'm very happy that Greece will not cave to the EU, for now, despite being a financial drag on the whole European Union.

I think we should all "go Greek" for a little while, in the spirit of world politics and communal independence!

Man. I feel so bad for those people right now. They are really taking it up the ass. I can't image not being able to get your money out of the bank. Surprisingly you don't hear of any looting or violence. I can't image what would happen here in some areas like LA or DC.
Those people have been living above their means for years. They have borrowed their way to prosperity and they are going to have to get to work and pay the price..
I was just looking for an excuse to say "Go Greek."

However, I believe the argument that it was the Greek politicians (finance minister just resigned by the way) that screwed everything up and punishing the Greek people may not really fix anything. Saying "no" means they can come up with something that won't cripple the people of Greece.

Now that would be a good fund raising promotion "Greek a Greek".

Damn, if they won't cut expenses and raise taxes, they should flounder. Why should the rest of the EU support their irresponsible spending?
Exactly Oldgrump... They have been retiring early. Taking numerous holidays. They are like spoiled children. time to go to school..
I'm not an economic expert, but there's a really good article on Market Watch that explains quite well about why this is not just a matter of spoiled Greeks taking too many vacations:

Once again, proof that socialism is a failure. But we'll never hear that in the news.
