I would ofer that a convenient feature would be a one line forum drop-down box i.e. a smaller version of the one found on the main search table, be placed either at the top or bottom or side of each forum page, including the threads.
Pressing the down arrow on the box, would expand the selection to all forums and a member could then navigate directly to a forum of interest from any thread or forum.
