why are LE's so focused on prostitution

im so sick of seeing Le's busting ppl because they choose to do their business behind doors, dont le's have anything else better to do? why cant they catch the gangsters, thugs, child molesters, drug dealers etc. why do they care so much about what adults do together? they're so focused on prostitution that i bet you the drug cartels and dealers are makin a shitload of cash as we speak. Just the other day a massage parlor got raided by the LE

i was watching a vid on you tube about how more and more les are goin in on BP to makes busts, freakin idiots are wasting tax payer money all because some ladies want to ive guys companionship. its BS i tell ya.

I don't know if they're "so focused" on it, but it is illegal, after all.

It's because they're bullies. Bullies are people with inferiority complexes who spend most of their time hurting others to prove how big they are, but since they have deep-seated feelings of inferiority they don't want a fair fight; they only pick on people whom they can hurt with impunity. So they gang up, use weapons against unarmed people, threaten people with arrest, etc. Vice cops are the lowest form of bully; they only feel safe picking on women. Psychologically, they're exactly the same type as wife beaters (cops are 2-4 times as likely as other men to beat their wives): http://www.kersplebedeb.com/mystuff/...batterers.html and http://www.purpleberets.org/violence..._families.html

Beating up, raping or arresting women makes them feel like men.

My comment is without research, but it seems the busts are mostly targeting under-aged girls & street-walkers (probably trying to appease neighbors).
I saw a CNN report on TV a while back and they was a story about a woman who was taking in underage girls and posting them on BP and other sites. That was back when e.com got raided. I agree they should focus on the rapist.murders...but they think we are easier to get than the real criminals..I am totally against the human trafficking of underage girls..you just have to be careful and screen and watch how you word things and most important follow your insticints..If it seems to good to be true it probably is. Be safe..just my opinion

Its a whole lot safer and a lot less work for them to catch a bunch of hookers and johns. Think about it, the gangsters, thugs, child molesters, drug dealers etc shoot back. I do agree that most of the stings I hear about involve streetwalkers...not always but most of the time. The quickest way to get busted at your private incall is to have a lot of traffic in and out...neighbors watch that kind of stuff.

They actually do some good at times, see this story from out here that broke over the weekend

Well, not with me they aren't. The cops in this country have become no different from those in Egypt or any other oppressive regime, but most Americans are too scared to admit it.
I agree with the previous comments that hit the nail on the head - the hobby is an easy target. Organized crime is quite organized and carries significant risk of life to LE. Drugs are much harder to find. Murders, burglaries, et cetera are typically solved very quickly or not at all.
Prostitution has an ongoing stream of easy, quick targets which LE can use to show they are "busy" while the other numbers remain unchanged.

But the pressure that comes from wives, churches, and politicians to root out "scandal" is also a part of it. It's complex from a criminal, ethical and financial standpoint.

The sentiment with LE is that gangs are starting to control the industry. Selling women is much more profitable than selling drugs.
I hope they suceed in rescuing the kids...I honestly do. Not that I am crying in my cups over being in the life- but kids are not equipped to make the mature decision I had to.
I think often drugs and prostitution go hand in hand. Where you find one, you find the other. Also, who wants to stay in a hotel next to a room where people are coming and going all night. Who wants to live in an apartment next door to an incall location that is busy 24/7? I don't and I don't think you guys do either. LE doesn't know who to weed out. Often times the higher priced escorts have the most extensive drug connections. So you just never know.
