!3th Floor is NO LONGER.....

This is an email received today........too bad. A couple of us girls had reservations there for Halloween.

Dear Friends and Supporters

We are saddened beyond description to have to tell you that the City of Dallas has forced us to close our doors. The fire marshal visited us and was prepared to evacuate the building because we were operating without a certificate of occupancy. Additionally, the city’s code compliance division was looking into our operation.

Apparently, these enforcement activities stemmed from a complaint received by the city. While we will likely never know who complained, we can only conclude that a member of the lifestyle community decided to cause problems for the 13th Floor. Perhaps it was a competitor or perhaps a disgruntled patron. Whoever it was, we wish that they had considered that their actions not only hurt us, but hurt everyone in the lifestyle community. Any time one club is threatened, it puts at risk all of the other lifestyle activities throughout the region.

The 13th Floor had an incredible run for over 1o years. We had blossomed into what we believe was one of the top clubs in the country. Over the last 4 years of our ownership we have worked extremely hard to make constant improvements to provide all of you with a classy, fun and safe environment. We know that all of you recognized our efforts and we were very gratified that you came to visit us in record numbers. We thank each and every one of you for your patronage over the years.

We walk away with our heads held high and are very proud of what we accomplished.

I've only heard about the 13th floor after I entered in the lifestyle and always wanted to go, but was too shy. This is awful.

Been to the 13 floor more than well lets just say we went a lot. Loved it and loved the people.
