Love these air shows! Many moons ago at Addison airport I saw a Spitfire, a P-51 Mustang, and a Corsair flying together. What a beautiful site it was.

The Alliance Air Show rolls out the week before this.
They're supposed to have a gold plated F-35 on static display which is appropriate as they can't get them certified for flight status.

I'll be out there for the CAF Tora Tora Tora reenactment. Its great. I went to the one at Alliance in 2012.

The South Oak Cliff Dwellers will go ape shit when 30 or so WWII fighters and bombers are dive bombing the airfield and explosions going off. The CAF tells me that the explosions this year will be incredible.

Last weekend the CAF was holding a Formation class Friday - Sunday. The sight was awesome watching many T6 Texans, T-28s, T-34s, Zeros, and a few Stearman Biplanes all taking off and landing together and practicing formation flying above the airfield. We had a B-17, B-24 and B-29 practicing out here the other day. Love the sound of Radial Engines.

With the congested air space at redbird, the CAF made a terrible mistake moving to this airport.
