Marco Rubio's Water-Gate

Florida Senator Marco Rubio is a rising political star. His big moment came this week when he was chosen to give the Republican response to the State of the Union address. Unfortunately, his opportunity to bask in the limelight was ruined by his apparent nervousness and an awkward moment in which he reached off-camera for a water bottle.

All the late-night comics had a field day at Rubio's expense. Stephen Colbert's spoof of Rubio's Water-Gate is hilarious.

What's really funny is Senator Robert Menendez (D-NJ) flying on donor's planes without reporting it to go to a Caribbean country of brown-skinned poor people to have sex with under-aged prostitutes.

The media and the comedians are having a field day with that.

Oh... wait. They're not.

I guess the obvious question would be, why is the FBI talking to people in the Dominican Republic and not talking to the people who work at FOX News?

"Media bias" is the least of the problems the Republican Party is facing, but if they insist on blaming the media for their predicament instead looking for the root causes, they are welcome to it.
Nothing to do with Rubio's affiliation, it was just a shitty speech.

wasn't it Rush that started this trend? The illegal viagra and oxy along with visits to young boys?

I would agree that Rush is low on the evolutionary "milk of human kindness" ladder, he shares a rung with Chris Matthews and Reverend Al. However, I believe you might be thinking of Teddy Kennedy - may he rest in peace - after he failed his swimming test.

I am also curious. Is what this politician did illegal in the Domican Rep? If it is, shouldn't the authorities THERE be investigating and not the FBI?
