Advice in Ciudad Acuna

Fellow hobbyists! I have not been to Ciudad Acuna in exactly 20 years. I am thinking about driving down for a day trip and was wondering 1) is it safe with all of the border violence, 2). Where do you recommend to go to have fun during the day and at night, 3). Is boys town still the place to go? 4). What are prices like for fun? And 5). Should I get a hotel in del rio or across the border if I decide to stay longer? Thanks, I'll be sure to let you know how my trip goes after I get your advice.
did you ever get a reply or have you gone yourself. let me know please because I was thinking of heading down there

IF YOU GO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR PASSPORT, WHEN YOU COME BACK TO THE USA YOU CAN BE ARRESTED IF YOU DO NOT. Friend of mine had trouble with Customs, because he left his passport in a Del Rio hotel. Luckily with multiple ID, somehow he was in their computers, used to travel a lot, and they let him back in with a stern warning.
They will not arrest you if you have
no passport. If you have no passport, get your birth certificate. They will hassle you.
