Other people's perspective on prostitution
You know, Im very normal, no history of drug abuse, sex abuse, etc etc that seems to be the stigma attached to being a provider. Went to college, educated, did the marriage thing, sunday school teacher, perfect life and perfect friends, you know, the white picket fence bullshit.
Anyway, I still have those friends...and then I have friends in this world. It is interesting sitting back listening to others talk about what we call the hobby, and they consider it being something that only the lowest form of life would engage in. Sometimes I want to pop off and tell them its far from being that, and the people involved that I know are far from scum of the earth.
And a few of the husbands are way too familiar with the lingo, hmmm.
Do you guys sit back and listen to the bullshit? Ever tried to argue it with them?
Lately I prefer my hobby friends over the fake bs of the perfect bitches with the perfect (or they think) perfect marriages.
I have a couple of guy friends that know what I do.... 1st question.... You mean like those *cant talk about that* whores down in the hood? When I tell them no their 2nd question is Can you hook me up... LOL
I have one female friend that knows and she was a little put off by it at 1st but she was always asking questions about it when we would hang out. She now understands why I do it and thinks its a good idea.
We pay for people's companionship one way or another. Her we pay for NSA and get to enjoy time with some very special ladies.
I have two friends (both females) that know what I do. One turned out to be a sugar baby, she was 29 with a 71 yr old that would call we he wanted some. She denied it was a Sugar Baby situation. He had bought her a car, paid her rent, gave her money when she asked, and left money when he got his rocks off. Hello Blondie.....
The other was intrigued asking questions and thinking rather hard. Wheels are turning, he'll she might be providing now.....
Do you guys sit back and listen to the bullshit?

I have been in and out the hobby for over 20 years. All of my ex wives knew if they didn't TCB I would go play. But I get asked about it often. Some ask simple things some ask silly stuff. When they ask about picking up girls on the street like on Pretty Woman I tell them no think more along the lines of Scent of a Woman.
Hey, look at it this way, with David Vitter's announcement that he would be running for Governor, the State of Louisiana could very well have a Gov who was known to call hookers from the floor of the US Senate.
Though, the fact that Senator Vitter is said to have a proclivity for dressing in diapers and being spanked when he is with his hookers, brings up an entirely different conversation altogether. Hey, but at least he wasn't trying to pickup guys in the Men's room at the airport.
Well for me I am grateful for the ladies that are in the game.I have a sick wife that there is no way in hell I will ever leave, and the whole date and court thing is not an option.I love the fact that I can call a lovely lady and spend a little quality time together, then walk out the door with no looking back or regrets!
I know quite a few hookers, I don't know any prostitutes, sorry.
I know no one else personally in the Hobby, and being rather new to this myself I haven't told anyone about it.
That being said, I can see where someone might look down on the hobby. I just found out that a couple from my office are swingers and I had a little averse thought about what they do. After realizing my hypocritical inclination I decided their decision was no different from mine. Deciding to get satisfaction wherever they saw fit.
A lot of people can only imagine the street hookers or the heavily coerced girls in movies. Indies and the more professional agencies just don't compute in their minds. There have probably been a few users of the forbidden among the girls I've seen, but I doubt there have been many. They tend to have an aura of drama that makes them unappealing to me and interferes with their TCB skills to the point that I won't do what it takes to meet them. The ladies I've met and enjoyed have ranged from the strippers, waitresses and college students you might expect to women with professional careers like a minor state bureaucrat, a realtor, a graphic designer, a couple of nurses, sales reps, etc, etc.
Many "civilian" women who would look down on providers blissfully ignore that they have had escapades that would qualify as acts of prostitution. Anyone want to post an example? I'm not interested in names, just examples (even if hypothetical) of ways that a person who doesn't consider herself a prostitute may have used a sex act for material gain.
Trekker I have married friends who cant stand their husbands but stay married for the cars, house, money, ya know, a legal hooker. I told one that is all she is, and she was insulted.
At least providers own it, just too bad it cant be owned in public.
What providers do is threatening to most women. Deep down - they know their husband IS vulnerable. The easier, cheaper, more accessible and more accepted this is, the more men will, and the more likely hers will.
Their hate is based on fear and ignorance. (I'll skip the Star Wars quote here).
They have the largely the same reaction to a woman who knowingly sleeps w/ a married man for free.
I don't fault them, I understand.
A man's perspective on this topic is almost ALWAYS related to the company in the conversation. If its not 100% trusted broh's - then he'll likely be against it.

Swinging is cheating and escorts are nothing more than prostitutes.
Swinging is no cheating when everyone is privy and ok. And prostitution? Well, when a guy takes you out to dinner and buys you expensive things, hell even marrying you to provide for you, that is a form of payment for services. Considering that in some states not putting out is grounds for divorce. Or at least used to be.

chella you have said many tmes on this board that even you can't stand what you do most of the time. you were screening and always said thats what you liked better than doing it yourself. you retire every six months and look down on providers so why are you so shocked that the world looks down on you too?
