Does El Paso get to be in the West or the South???

It is very West but it is also very South?

Also Amarillo is very West but very North??

Does anybody know the answer to this???

El Paso is considered a part of the west Texas forums. I believe Amarillo is considered a part of the North and East Texas forums.
