Hi I'm a female trying to understand what fun to do in Houston?

There's the Texas Republican Party Convention coming up. .....oh wait!

Lol I kid. Anyways depends on what your idea of fun is. As far as nightlife, all things are shutdown. You can go to a local breastaurant (Ojos Locos, Bombshells, ...) catch a bite and some tunes. They usually have live djs.

To answer the OPs question: most of the restraurants are open. However, the traditional clubs, sites like Space Center Houston are iffy depending on the business. Best to call ahead.

As far as I know the beaches are open but my preference is to go to FLA for beaches.
