Don'ts for Husbands

I glanced through “Don’ts for Husbands” by Blanche Ebbutt published in 1913 at Border’s yesterday while standing in line. Where I don’t agree with some, well quite a bit, of what she has to say, I really liked this one. “Don’t judge your wife’s motives. She may be doing a thing from a motive that would never occur to you.” I guess it’s that whole vague notion of men are from Mars and women are from Venus thing just worded differently. So fellas, do you think this one little piece of advice worded so clearly could saved a few headaches?

What about "You can either be right or be happy. Its your choice."?
