Negotiating is a douche move but, look around, especially here...there are douche-bags everywhere!!Yup.
Men, you are perfectly welcome to negotiate whatever rate you want - Ladies, you are perfectly welcome to say yes or no.
It all depends on who you are as a person and who you're dealing with as a provider.
Bottom line - Everybody is different or all the same....I'm just not sure. Originally Posted by Ed Highlight

All, if any negotiations, need to be completed before the meeting. Of course, anything is worth a try, give her the full donation first. Start negotiations by stepping back to avoid getting your nose broken, from either a slamming door or two right jabs and a left hooks .
Negotiations, probably wouldn't be a problem if they start by saying , "You are obviously worth more than you request. Please accept an additional $100. I'm certain that our time together will warrant a generous tip. I hope you enjoy our time together as much as I will.
I'm certain the second scenario will have positive results.
Oxxx...ox - to all the girls. Originally Posted by PsychedelicMut

By the way Saturn is no longer in business because all the other companies kept discounting just like your sisters in commerce will continue to do. Yell, scream and demand all you want but you can hold out and be like Saturn in the end. It's all your choice. Demand is a fickle thing. One day your schedule is full and the next you wonder why no one is calling. It's because your co workers have stolen your demand away from you. They were a little more attentive than you they gave an extra thirty minutes because they thought the guy was nice to them. Or simply they said that gal is charging too much and went with the gal that said they would get fifty off if they made an apt with them instead. It's works both ways also. I once made an apt a week in advance at asking rate for a gal and she called me an hour before time and said she had a girlfriend that would come see me. I asked why the change when I made the apt in advance she said a guy offered her time and a half for the same appt. She was honest at least and I give her that. Did I see her again? Fuck no. It's all about when you want to see someone and what they are willing to accept. Demanding sticker price is a quick way to become that girl who only sees one or two a week. Saturn did not go out of business due to discounting by other parties. It was the lowest profit division in GM. Even lower than the now defunct Pontiac. Naturally funding would be the lowest based on performance. Of all the reasons not to buy a Saturn it was shown lack of discount as the number one reason based on survey after survey. It had one of the best repair incidence reports in GM. It had one of the best initial quality reports in GM period. It's average gas mileage was the best in GM yet it's sales were monumentally lower than expectations. It's plastic body left more body line openings that were also perceived as poor workmanship even though it wasn't. As a former Chevrolet dealer I followed this closely. A buyers perception is much more important than actual facts. It wins every time.
They were about no-hassle negotiation.
It was killed due to politics within GM over funding. Originally Posted by dilbert firestorm
