There are some legitimate reasons for having more than one number in business .... for instance .... one might be a "manager" for scheduling and the other may be a direct line to the provider. I have a hobby number.

I suspect a lot of guys end up with multiple numbers in their phone system with respect to one provider, because many providers will text their NEW NUMBER as they move about their business locations for a variety of reasons. Sometimes they phone number gets in the hands of folks they don't want calling so they want to keep it private or family members, social friends, and/or spouses get their number and they want to change it.

Phone numbers are a good way to locate people ... like pics.

They also use fake pics for the same reason on occasion ... safety and privacy.

Unfortunately this "community" creates suspicion ...

.... many times groundless in fact.

it's sort of humorous in a way .... they want to "screen" with fictitious information provided by hobbyists and they want to provide the hobbyist with fake information about them .... they rely on their gossip blogs for "screening" and most of it is bullshit .... just like many reviews by hobbyists.

I have three numbers. A work phone, my regular cell phone, and a hobby phone.

Most people have more than one phone.number. A work phone and personal cell, Some may not have a "Land line home phone" , Some still do.

I got 5 numbers and 2 phones lol.
