Well, John Corzine has had an effect. And I thought it was Republicans screwing up the market. Looks like they have help.

There's plenty of blame to go 'round and it extends for decades.

"The Dow Jones has rallied 80% from its low in March of 2009. However, adjusted for real inflation, the Dow Jones is about equal to where it was in 1963. Stock market gains have been due to nothing but inflation."

If you look at the inflation curve (green) without the changes made to the CPI calculation starting with Carter I, and draw a line omitting the "dot com" and "housing" bubbles, the market is trading in a range consistent with it's actual history.

Lesson learnt and move on. I have 3 different brokers now.

Every investor knows that high leveraged trading in the futures market is extremely risky. And investors should NEVER put all their money with 1 broker.
Also if you want to invest in that kind of activity, the first thing you do is check if the company is a member of the NFA and the CFTC.
