I have an "attempting to transfer money to someone without requiring their real name who lives in another country" problem that you always hear about from Suze Orman.
So I have an occasional travel companion who lives in England and to whom I have sent money in the past through a transfer service that for some bizarre reason has stopped allowing United Kingdom-based residents from receiving cash. Thus I am now searching for a replacement and would like to know if anyone knows of a similar service. (I did a search on here but most of the posts were based on US<>US transfers)
No to PayPal as I had a bad experience with them that resulted in my money being locked down for light years. If anyone has an alternate service/process that can be recommended it would allow me to provide my friend with a little extra money for the holiday.
