and I can understand why the elites don't want them out there. As you hear the screaming and gunshots you know the police are minutes away from helping. Even after the police arrive they are not going to go in and stop the killing. They are going to set up a perimeter and get control of the scene. When you hear the fear from people no longer among the living you just know that a weapon or two in the right hands would have saved so many lives that day. If if you can't shoot the gunman you could pin him down in one place until the police come in.

The left always love to make believe about what would happen if certain gun laws had been passed. Almost universally, those laws would not have stopped any shootings. Still, using the same playbook, what would have happened if one or two people in the school had been trained and packing that day?

Number one: There were no assault rifles used in that shooting. An assault rifle fires both fully automatic and semi-automatic with a select fire switch. Latter models have a three-shot burst capability.

Number two: Other than the murders and assaults, no CT gun law was broken. Since I don't live in CT I had nothing to do with it and since CT is a bastion of democratic government I guess you have to say that the democrats are responsible for the gun laws.
