No, you need a passport or a passport card.

You carry your ID and a birth certificate. You’re better off getting a passport/ passport card.

Its amazing this question is posed despite numerous threads you need a passport.

I cross literally all the time with just my license. No birth certificate, no passport. Literally just my driver's license.

If you have a Real ID driver's license you can cross the border without a passport.
