Needing to warm up... Where to go???

I am headed out on a trip soon and was wondering where in the RGV area I should visit?
Any suggestions welcome...

If you're going to the RGV a stop in Corpus would be a logical stop on the way. It's a bigger market and only about 2 1/2 hrs to the valley on Corpus checkout day (about 3 hr to McAllen).
