A cure (at least for me)

I've noticed a number of threads about those of us that - have a diff time getting it up - keeping it up - finishing etc. I think a lot of us are just getting older (I'm mid 50's) or all those anti psychotic and other medications are just getting to us. I have found 2 things that help - especially when choosing a provider:

The over 35 crowd certainly understand, don't judge, go slow and realize that it's mostly between our ears that our problems lay. If you are up front - admit your not the rock hard stud you used to be - they are most accomadating. The time element - the dreaded cover (a must for some things) etc. They know these things and can help out if they know.

The second is most of us have a hard time letting go of the young things, but we just can't keep up with them anymore. I love eating pussy - most all pussy - and especially that young plump kind. I find that if I can find the young one who truly loves a man who knows what he doing in this area and she can relax for the first half of the session and just receive, I wind up with a hard-on that can certainly go the distance. The trouble is finding the young babes that don't know that they don't have to jump your bones for an hour or two. Some of us just want to play with our toys for a while.

Works for me anyway.

Well said! A little time down there goes along way in getting my motor going. The more mature providers seem to understand this. This issue has caused problems at home and it was embarrassing when I was hobbying regularly. I have decided that I need to overcome it and perhaps a little hobby action might help in the excitment and between the ears department!

One thing that helps me is to minimize or eliminate consumption of junkfood heading towards a session. Not so much as the day of, but 3-4 days out. Crap that hinder bloodflow and just generally do nothing for stamina should be avoided. It also helps my sensitivity level as well.

Eating garlic helps.

No, not before you walk in the door to see a provider, but having garlic in your diet somewhere.

If you thinks she's a vampire, just rescind your invitation...if you're hosting, that is. If not, tough shit. Lol!
While some things do change with age- lower GH levels will prolong the time needed to recover from a workout and some age-related decline in organ function is unavoidable- it's also a good idea for men to keep a good survey of their general health. Certain findings, such as decline in sexual function, decline in exercise tolerance, difficulty in concentration, decline in general assertiveness, etc. can be signs of health problems.

It's a good idea to get a check-up, evaluate for heart disease based on age and risk, check endocrine function and check testosterone levels. Men who take good care of themselves and are in good health usually remain sexually vigorous into their 60s and 70s and beyond.

I have no connections with the people at Cenegenics, but their success stories are true. Cenegenics tends to push Growth Hormone and it's an expensive program, but there are alternatives even in your general doctor's office. Lifestyle medicine with HRT (hormone replacement therapy), etc. has been around for decades for women, and now we're seeing this becoming okay for men too, with drugs like Viagra and more awareness in HRT for men.

I had low testosterone as a young man following an accident, and fixing my testosterone and other endocrine problems was the difference between day and night in my life.

I won't sacrifice my anonymity, so save your PMs requesting info on my doctor. If your general internist doesn't treat you, ask your pharmacist or go to a compounding pharmacy (they make your drugs for you in certain cases) and ask them for some doctors who practice age management medicine or HRT for men. Your health is worth the cost of one or two provider visits once or twice per year and you'll never regret feeling better. Your doctor doesn't need to know about hobbying- you don't have to disclose to whom your amorous intent is directed.

Good thread loftdweller. Not too long ago I had a young one ask if I was ready for the cover only a few minutes into the session. I told her that it was much too soon and took my time getting she and I ready for the main event. A good time was had by all and she even complimented me afterwards. Now that is a powerful ego boost. My hope is that she learned something from that experience. I will find out when I go back for another round.
