Is it safe to assume VP's are safe (not LE)?

Been corresponding with a VP the last couple of days and setting something up, but VP has not asked for any screening info on me. Since I'm a newbie, this surprised me. VP has tons of reviews from all over the state, but again, I'm new so don't know if there's a chance this VP could not be legit. Don't want my first experience to be my last.

It's likely that as you near your appointment, screening will take place. That was my experience. Who's to say, for sure, though? There's ALWAYS a chance for something to not go well.
