Pre-Paid Phone for hobby

I know some of you gents keep either a second phone or at least a second number. I was curious what service providers you've had best luck with or which allow for the most discretion?

T-mobile and if you really want to double wrap yourself get a phone that's dual sim. Those are normally just 3G so don't expect any 4G/LTE service with those phones.

There are a number of service providers for pre-paid phones but I like T-mobile the best. Pay cash for the phone and then buy top up cards for it at CVS, Walgreens, Target, etc. with cash.

Don't tie it back to your real world info in any way...address, email, etc.

I do exactly that with t-mobile ^^^. Very easy. Many use an app (google voice, etc) on their main phone but that requires logging off or deleting each time. Personally, that's something I would probably forget. With a separate phone I just leave it off in a drawer at office and I'm safe from SO finding anything.

I use google hangouts which is the upgraded google voice. Created a fake google account linked to another fake email from free service. Log out of the app and log back in under a legit business email when I'm not using it. I honestly have a good excuse for using google voice/hangouts with my job.

It's all free and easy. With the Hangouts app in mobile os you can send and receive MMS easily. Also, through hangouts the call isn't logged to your cell but is part of a data packet that can't be accessed individually via billing. You can also block numbers and have voicemail. Just remember to log in and out.

Anybody can DM me for more info.
