Pensacola and Destin

I really enjoyed my visit to Pensacola, so I am excited to return. I decided to venture to Destin for the first time and was wondering where I should stay. Are there any areas of town to avoid due to safety issues or maybe convenience issues (traffic, parking, etc)?

I would like to go eat somewhere with outdoor space on the water also, if you have any suggestions. I certainly appreciate it.

Harbor Docks Boschamps are both very good. Most places very safe.

Any of the hotels West of the Mid Bay Bridge are good. The further East you go you have some as well.

Food, you have so many places that are good. Are you looking for any specific type of food? Seafood is the obvious choice in Destin area..
