Remember The Good Old Days?

When we had guys like Cheaper To Buy It and that gang? The insults were creative and good natured. Intelligent comments were frequent. There was real discourse, and at the end of the day, most of us were friends, even if we disagreed. I had some tragedies, and even my opponents offered encouragement. Others had the same experience. Today, if someone received some bad news, they wouldn't dare mention it. Their opponents would rejoice and use it against them. There was a member here who got some very bad news and had to leave the board. Even though we argued vigorously, I was one of the few to offer encouragement and support. There was no genuine animosity. It always felt felt like a group of guys sitting in a bar, calling each other names and arguing, then leave laughing and come back the next night and do it again. It's not that way anymore.

I'm here for entertainment. Nothing more. This board is less entertaining than ever. Sad. It used to be a fun a place.

Funny, I was thinking along slightly different lines. The All Star break is coming up and we have a few all stars on this board. The problem is that we can't see them play for all the messed up, brown nosing, nephews of the owner hanging around getting in the way. We could have a good time except for the bozos who demand to play but have no skill other than being a pain. The very reason that I found ECCIE and it's forerunner was I followed an opinion piece written by a red headed, local provider that I thought was pretty damned good. She has since moved onto Las Vegas and maybe out of the business but she had a good head on her shoulders. Today the most creative argument some people have is "snark".

You mean creative like: "Grubergruber faggoty fagot fag fag..."? or your favorite, "FTFY?"

Yeah, Whiny, youre right. Not. This forum was created because then"creativity" was too creative for the Sandbox, or have you somehow let that slip your mind? Owners need to make sure that the grubered faggy inbred golem chimps were segregated from the people who found such creative discussion offensive. Not to mention cut and past irrelevancies from JDIdiot's All-Stars..poor guy needs to have some fun.

Keep up of step the fuck off.

You are pissing on the graves of every Republican you've publicly supported. Even those who still are alive.

BTW - why not just bump the other Whiny threads you've posted about this?

It's still possible.

Old-t and I have come to a meeting of the minds elsewhere on the board.
