North Platte - Worth A Visit?

Traveling with Ginger Doll headed west soon and I wanted to know if we should skip North Platte or stop for a night (or two).

I'm guessing you'd be better off stopping in GI if you want to stay a couple days someplace. North Platte would have a lower volume if I had to guess. But many travelers do stop at least a day there. You'll have to use BP and stay away from the HI express as cops tend to use it in busts.
