Thoughts on #SESTA #FOSTA...

...Looks like it's already having an impact. City Vibe, TER Ads, Craigslist personals. Violation of the Constitution? P4 and EC gonna get slammed. Thank goodness I really only see my regulars, fortunately more than one.

Yep, sites are voluntarily shutting down their advertising venues in a bid to cover their asses in advance of the law taking effect. The discussion boards and forums still seem to be functional but one wonders for how long?

Write down the contact info for your faves and regulars while you can...

GIVE ME HOBBYING, OR GIVE ME DEATH!!
Too dramatic?

Well if Ecc feels the heat or 411, I hope they do just what TER did and only shut down the ads and not the whole site. Hobbyists better jot down their ATFs, regulars or TDL ladies' phone numbers and emails now in a special place for future reference in case the boards they regularly visit close down and don't recall how to find those ladies' contact info.
P411 is a Canadian company so this doesn’t affect them.
Don't know about the other areas but where I'm at there is not any ads on craigslist. Only scams.

See?

Nothing to worry about.
Go to P411

You have to invest in your business to succeed

Seems unconstitutional to me.

you deserve everything you get.
I think you are going to see the stampede of corporate entities and domain registrations and site hostings for things eccie head immediately offshore. US jobs lost and nothing gained. Makes sense!

I’m more interested in what ECCIE ownership thinks about it.

Hope we get some sort of statement soon. Or at least some assurance that the site isn’t going to go dark without warning.

I started this when I was 21 yrs old and now I'm 35. back then we advertised in the newspaper and in the phone book. This is the oldest profession in the world we will adapt. I feel bad that some girls just aren't prepared for this and will wind up back on a street corner.

Poviders need to start making new websites that are camouflaged and make sure their phone numbers are posted on all the boards before they disappear..which reminds me.. My phone number will be posted on my bio today. If you have an interest in seeing me you should probably get it while you can.
