Not completely out of contention. And the self-censorship is self-preservation after the payment processors cut them off. If you don't have the money, you can't run the site.
That said, I'm just fortunate that none of my active kinks are in the group that caused them problems. Can't post all of my stories on line there now, but always knew there would be some percentage falling afoul of the TOS. It's just a larger percentage now.
