The world of Brownback?

The best ones are in other states.
Pretty soon Brownbackistan will be worse than Missouri and everyone will go back to Missouri clubs, lol. Originally Posted by Longermonger

Brownbackistan393 up, 30 downa pseudo-Christian fascist state where the arts are not publicly funded, women's reproductive rights are relentlessly attacked, public school funding is drastically cut, voter suppression laws make it nearly impossible for new voters to register to vote, and social services are turned over to evangelical "Christian" groups, all done with the backing of the Koch brothers.
Brownbackistan is a place where civil responsibility takes a back seat to religious intolerance and corporate greed.

The Phelps are democrats and always have been.

That is an interesting twist JB
If you Google Al Gore Fred Phelps, you will see them hanging out together. I don't blame Al though. He obviously didn't know what he was getting into. But I also will never understand why conservatives are automatically lumped in with Fred....when there are no photos such as Als, and when Fred has run as a democrat. Its an allegation with no evidence.

Anyway, if this thread continues. I would love to hear specific examples of why Brownback is bad....not some vague he sucks rhetoric, some unfounded association with a bigot, or a cute morphing of his name. If you don't like him, what specifically bugs you?

A thread was started on my behalf. Nice.

Crew, my quote was about the new strip club law. The government of Kansas (now with 20% more stupid!) is trying to ram through a bunch of conservative bills. The latest big one is about restricting public sector unions (because of all those millionaire teachers, firefighters, and police riding around in limos and lighting Cuban cigars with hundred dollar bills) but that isn't really related to poon. The strip club bill is.

Who will sign these bills into law? Brownback. That's why he's the bad guy.

I propose that we pass a law preventing Brownback from; A) getting or performing abortions, B) being within 1000 feet of a school, church, adult business, establishment that serves alcohol, casino, place of worship, business, residence, government building, cemetery, or other Brownback, C) being within six feet of another Kansan, D) being nude or partially nude at any time, E) being in a room smaller than 600 square feet, F) being in a room greater than 700 feet, G) consuming alcohol, H) being anywhere from 12 midnight to 6AM.

He'll have 180 days to comply.
Idiocy has nothing to do with what political party you belong too.
Let me assist in being mote specific...he's talking about the Community Defense Act, which has been introduced before....to include before Brownback was governor. Its not his invention. A swing and a miss.

And Brownback's anti-union offenses would have to be spelled out specifically before getting a response. So what if he doesn't like unions....what is his specific transgression.

Phelps ran for office many years ago....as a democrat. Suck on that!

To assume that the Republican governor of Kansas is not 'tight' with Republican state representatives and Republican state senators is asking readers to suspend disbelief more than they'd have to while watching The Wizard of Oz.

Republicans would do well to view unions as small businesses that sell a unique service called 'representation'. They should also recognize the many 'associations' and 'organizations' that businesses form as unions.

All you need to do is read the news stories from the last month or so to get the details. Google "Kansas", "teachers", "bill", "unions", etc.

In your mind does that equal the army of Republican idiots currently holding office about to fuck up Kansas strip club laws forever?

What are the numbers? 100 to 1? In your head 100 is less than or equal to ONE?!?

The proof was last years primarys, where moderate republicans lost because they weren't in lock step with Brownback and he and the Kochs made sure they didn't stand a chance a winning.
So let's see....I ask for specific Brownbackian anti-union transgressions....and the only response is 'Google it'! Pretty lame.
