Ridgeland, Flowood or Pearl?

Please help me out, guys, looking for suggestions on where in Jackson to stay? Looking for a safe and convenient area, thanks!

You can't go too wrong with any of the mentioned locations if UR in a more upscale hotel. Flowood around the Dogwood shopping area is nice - Pearl near Bass Pro is nice.

Apparently no one else has an opinion.
